Has anybody noticed this in Capoeira?
Capoeira would be extremely compatible with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. There are a lot of movements where you have to switch your hips to move and a lot of flexibility training as well as a lot of balancing training.
What are your opinions on this?
Yeah, Thegodof... and it's those movements that would help a long way.
Yeah, I wouldn't use it as a form of self defense but I am thinking of taking it as a way to move around using my hips, get better flexibility, balance as well as some of the movements that can be used.

I agree. I've always wanted to take up Capoeira to improve my flexibility and agility. Plus, at my age, being able to pull off those flips would definitely make me competitive against my Hip Hop crazy nephews on the dance floor ; P
